| BOWES BROTHERS - Born and raised in Carleton Place Ontario, these four natural brothers, along with their father Clarence, form the Bowes Brothers. Influenced by such groups as the Statler Brothers and the Irish Rovers, they began singing and playing country and gospel music at an early age. It has only been since 2002 that this family put themselves on stage together to perform as a band. This will be the Bowes Brothers third appearance at Riverside Jam. They are one of the most requested performers we have ever had. Be sure catch their show and you'll know why! | |
| The MISSISSIPPI GIRLS are the cream of the crop of true country music. Darlene Thibault, Arlene Quinn and Kathleen Stroud sing like birds with perfect harmony and have a great stage presence. All have recorded solo CD's and have been performing for years. They have graced stages with many stars including Blue Rodeo, Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Bill Anderson and others. They have suitcases full of awards and the best is yet to come. It's been said that their sweet harmonies would bring a "tear to a glass eye"! Be sure to catch the girls show and hear why as they open Saturday's show. | |
| JOHNNY SPINKS - If you are a fan of Classic Country Hits, then this is the band for you. From Jones to Haggard, Charlie Pride to Willie, this band plays them all. Johnny Spinks is returning to Riverside Jam by popular demand. Johnny Spinks and Coolwater will have you singing along to all the Country Classics from years gone by. | |
| McMUNN MUSIC has a family tradition of performing great country music, first made famous by their father, The Silver Fox. Jeff and Jamie McMunn, who also co-wrote the hit song "Reserve Me A Table" are returning to Riverside Jam with a solid fan base behind them. These two lads sing and perform with soul and emotion that comes naturally, from the heart. Don't miss their set for love nor money ! | |
| HOWARD HAYES from Low, Quebec, will bring you to your feet with his unique fiddle sound. He is the leader and founder of The Country Drifters who have performed at every fair and festival around for many decades. Howard has his own radio show on Valley Heritage Radio in Renfrew and has been a member of The Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame since 1992. He also has a state of the art recording studio in Ottawa, where many of todays top Valley artists record. Howard has toured with Wilf Carter, Ronnie Prophet and The Family Brown. Bring your dancing shoes and catch his show on Saturday afternoon. | |
